England have punished Wales at the Netball World Cup, trouncing their British counterparts by 45 points in their qualification match in Sydney.
After going down kicking against Australia on Tuesday night, world No.3 England did it easy in a 78-33 victory at Allphones Arena on Wednesday.
Wing attack Tamsin Greenway was on fire with 42 feeds into the circle over the 60 minutes, supplying constant ball to grateful shooters including Jo Harten, who shot 28 from 29 attempts.
Goal attack Pamela Cookey also impressed, maintaining a 100 per cent record in her second-half stint with 15 from 15.
Earlier in the day, Samoa scraped home 55-53 over Zambia, pegging the Africans back in the fourth quarter to hold on to their three-quarter time two-goal lead.
Trinidad and Tobago also had reason to smile after their 75-32 belting of Singapore, but it wasn't such great news for Barbados and Sri Lanka.
Fiji took care of Barbados 48-37, while Scotland accounted for Sri Lanka 59-27.
